SD Muhammadiyah School of Gantong is inspired from a novel that is written by Andrea Hirata Laskar Pelangi.
The building replica of this SD was set on a hill white, already apparent slanted like the tower of Pisa, so the wood must be supported in order not to collapse. School standing on this hill seem to reflect the backwardness of education in all parts of the country Indonesia.

Didirikan atas bukit putih Bangunan Replika SD ini, terlihat jelas sudah miring mirip menara Pisa, sehingga harus disangga kayu agar tidak roboh. bangunan yang berdiri di bukit ini sepertinya mencerminkan masih terbelakangnya pendidikan yang terdapat di seluruh pelosok negeri Indonesia.
